Krischelle was born in the States to two immigrant Mexican parents and raised in a dual- culture and language home. Having participated in piano and musical theatre all throughout childhood and adolescence, Krischelle always had a passion for the arts, with a particularly keen interest in equality within education using the arts as a tool. Krischelle graduated her BA in both Film & Media Arts as well in Sociology, with Minors in both Psychology and Criminology, from the University of Utah in 2016. She then moved to London, England where she graduated her MA Education: Digital Media, Culture and Communication. After that, she spent 2 years in Nuremberg as a researcher for the UNESCO Chair in Arts and Culture in Education. Krischelle currently resided back in London. Her interests lay in social semiotics, socioemotional development, cultural proficiency, and how the arts brings these three together.
