Gilvano Dalagna is an Invited Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro and an integrated researcher in the Artistic Creation, Performance, and Artistic Research Group at the Aveiro branch of the Institute of Ethnomusicology – Centre for Studies in Music and Dance. He is one of the commissioners of the Commission for the Education of the Professional Musician of the International Society for Music Education and is currently among those responsible for establishing the European network on Artistic Research Education. His career has been marked by significant contributions to the development of artistic research and the creation of new approaches to the teaching of musical performance in universities and higher education institutions. His work has been published by internationally renowned publishers and presented in various countries.
