Zhengyi Du is a PhD candidate in the Department of Culture, Communication, and Media at the UCL Institute of Education. She is supervised by Prof. Evangelos Himonides and Prof. Graham Welch. Her research focuses on creativity, musical creativity, technology-enhanced learning, and music heritage education, with several publications in these areas. She has been awarded the UCL Doctoral Scholarship in Digital Innovation, the China National Scholarship, and the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad. As an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Zhengyi actively engages in interdisciplinary teaching practices. She previously served as a postgraduate teaching assistant in the Department of Arts and Sciences at UCL and the Centre for Aesthetic and General Education at Xiamen University.
